Located in Mystic, Connecticut, Bank Square Books has been a cornerstone of the community since 1988. We offer a wide selection of books, journals, greeting cards, gifts, games and children’s toys.

Bank Square Books is a locally owned, fiercely independent bookstore committed to providing quality books and audiobooks for all types of readers—as well as gifts, toys, and cards. We believe a bookstore’s main purpose is to serve its community. In addition to providing a welcoming space for book lovers, we host author events, children’s storytimes, book clubs, and workshops. We also strive to support our community by donating money and books to local nonprofits, and hosting author events at local schools. Our community comprises a wide range of backgrounds, identities and beliefs, and all are welcome in our store.
