An integral part of the regional art scene for over one hundred years, the Mystic Museum of Art (MMoA) engages visitors in richly curated exhibitions, interpretive activities, studio classes, and outreach activities. Located on the west bank of the scenic Mystic River, MMoA houses four fully accessible galleries and an outdoor patio, a hands-on visitors’ creative space, state-of-the-art studios, and classrooms. 

The Museum strives to deliver the transformative experience of art to a broad community. MMoA’s comprehensive education program offers classes for both children and adults, and provides educational outreach programs to schools throughout Connecticut. The Museum’s mission is to inspire creativity and critical dialogue by cultivating visitors’ understanding, appreciation, and practice of visual art.
