Franklin's General Store is a throwback to the old days. There is a wonderful array of woodenware, stoneware, toys, candles, books, and all sorts of odds and ends. Part of the store is devoted to cheeses, jams and jellies, maple syrup, clam chowder, mustards, and the like.

The aroma of fudge cooking in a kettle fills the air. Step over to the fudge counter and have a free taste of the wonderful chocolate fudge, made before your eyes. There are 21 flavors in all, including Penuchi, Rocky Road, and a very tempting Mystic River Mud.
